Song of the Refugee

Samite Mulondo, a Ugandan expatriate who fled his home in 1982 after his country descended into chaos and his brother was brutally killed, returns to Africa to learn how the tens of thousands of people displaced by war in Liberia, Ivory Coast, Rwanda, and Uganda are beginning the process of recovery. Now an American citizen and an internationally known recording artist, Samite shares his message of peace and meets people who are rebuilding their shattered communities and bringing hope back into their lives.
