Diving Deep: Chris Fischer's Journey to Save Sharks and Bring Balance to Our Oceans

Explorer Chris Fischer, who grew up in Louisville, talks with Peter Schikler, senior counsel at New York City Law Department's Environmental Law Division and a fellow Louisvillian, about OCEARCH, a global nonprofit he founded that collects previously unattainable research on great white sharks. Sharks are the balance keepers of the ocean's food chain, and without them, other fish face the possibility of extinction. Chris talks about his global adventures alongside his crew to find solutions that will ensure balance and abundance in our oceans. Recorded on May 16, 2022 at The Kentucky Center Bomhard Theater in Louisville.
