Sustaining membership is where commitment meets convenience. Different from a traditional annual donation, this monthly giving option makes ongoing support for KET easy, accessible, and more affordable. Monthly gifts of $5 or more continue until you contact KET to make a change. This way your Membership and benefits are always active, so you no longer need to remember when to renew and for how much. Your membership does not expire, so frequent renewal notices are eliminated, meaning every dollar you donate goes further at KET. And it is easier on your budget because your support is spread throughout the year. Monthly payments are possible on credit card, but electronic fund transfers from your checking account (EFT) are preferred to avoid account expirations.
Legacy Circle/Planned Giving
The Legacy Circle honors donors who remember KET in their estate plans in the most personal and transformational way. After providing for your loved ones, gift planning offers a means to benefit KET in perpetuity while also returning income to the donor or reducing estate/tax obligations after death. KET works with several independent advisors who can assist you with your bequest, annuity, retirement asset, life income gift, or other estate options. Planned gifts are invested for annual distributions of interest income and can be unrestricted or designated to endowed funds in arts, local productions, public affairs, and education. Legacy Circle benefits include on-air recognition (if desired) that honors your ultimate gift and inspires others. May your remembrance serve as a lasting monument to your trust in and service to KET.
A new way to support KET is by donating your car, truck, boat, motorcycle, or RV, essentially turning something you don’t need into something you want — quality programs on KET. KET picks up the vehicle, at no cost, and once it has been sold at auction, the sale proceeds are donated to KET in your name. You will also receive a one-year membership to KET.

Did you know many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees, retirees and/or spouses to contribute to charitable organizations? Most companies who offer these programs match dollar for dollar, and many will even double or triple the impact of your contribution.
Volunteers are the heart and soul of KET. Each year, some 1,000 friends share their time, talents, and inspiration to help make KET stronger. During TeleFund and WinterPledge, individuals or groups from various businesses, schools, community/civic organizations, churches, colleges, or individuals answer donor calls while experiencing the magic of live television. KET presents some 20 events a year statewide, all in need of volunteer support.
The KET family includes businesses and restaurants who make tax-deductible, in-kind gifts of food, auction items, event rentals and decorations, printing, building maintenance, office supplies, and more — all of which contribute to the treasure of KET. In return for your donation, you will receive print, web, and on-air recognition, and your generosity enables KET to pass the savings on to those we service.
